OUR STORY

MH MARITZ WOODWORK had a humble beginning as I (the owner Marnis Maritz) am a third generation family farmer in the North-west province of South-Africa. I got married to my beautiful wife Suzanne and we needed a head piece for our bed and I had to make it with pallet wood. it was as simple as could be but it served the purpose.

That got me interested in the craft of furniture and to be able to create something so beautiful out of a few boards of wood.

We hand select all of our sustainably  harvested timber from our suppliers to give our clients the best quality product that will last a few lifetimes. Every single product goes thru my hands to give the client piece of mind, and it just gives MH MARITZ WOODWORK a personal touch to every single product.
